WINGFOILING
-
Experienced: Winter (Dec-Feb): Strong, consistent winds and flat water at high tide allow for efficient and controlled riding.
Rainy Season (May-Oct): Strong, consistent winds during peak monsoon and high tide offer maximum speed and challenge. "Flagging out" (depowering the wing to ride waves using board momentum) is popular in strong winds and high waves. -
Beginner: Winter (Dec-Feb): Ideal for intermediate levels due to long periods of high water during the day, relatively flat conditions, and consistent strong winds, especially when cross-shore. Excellent for skill progression.
Rainy Season (May-Oct): Suitable for beginners during milder monsoon winds and high tide (crucial to have at least 1 meter water depth for foil clearance).
